Hi there and thank you for reading this - my first official post! After a long break since setting-up the Business Process Vision site, I’m now ready to focus on building and developing the site. There’s a lot to do (and a lot I want to do), and it will all be shaped-by and tailored-to the needs of small business owners on the Web.
I might be pushing the boundaries and getting a little "radical" at times as I have some "interesting" ideas for some humorous videos, but I really want to mix business with pleasure. At a fundamental level, I believe we all like a good laugh and realise that life is not overly joyous if we are deadly serious throughout.
I know for certain that businesses can be highly efficient and professional yet down-to-earth and "connected" with their customers/clients, employees and stakeholders so as to make a real, tangible difference. Yes, this blend between professionalism and connectedness which I call "profection" is more often lacking from the majority of Internet based businesses (and bricks and mortar), but there is change in the wind.
A number of visionary thinkers such as Rich Schefren, Eben Pagan, and Michael Gerber have paved the way for new thinking and much greater focus on the customer. This thinking when combined with new recording and communication tools now being developed will make a profound impact in the lives of business owners and customers alike.
My challenge is to create, design, and engineer Business Process Vision (BPV), into a business that is "human" and truly benefits the lives of all people connected with the business (and just maybe a few that aren’t). I’ll be professional and focused on building "Profection" with us all having a good laugh along the way - welcome to the journey!
Thanks for reading - Jason

Great first post! I’m really interested in getting my business processes sorted for my business but it’s hard to know where to start. So much of the BPM software that I have seen is more for corporates and costs many thousands of dollars. I am now very intrigued about Business Process Vision and look forward to learning a bit more about what you’re up to with it. Thanks again and will keep watching your posts.

Hi Sheri
Thanks for that. A lot of the software dedicated to BPM is expensive and that is one reason why I created Business Process Vision, to create an inexpensive yet highly visible solution for Internet business owners. Another key part of the equation for me is clients being able to use “off the shelf” software that will achieve the end result of clearly documented and easily communicated business processes that anyone can understand.
Thanks again for your comment and keep watching. Also, please let me know if you have any questions or want to know anything.
